My Philosophy
I see the art of Photography as giving rather than simply taking a photograph. It’s about discovering the personality of your subject and bringing it to life, whether person place or thing.
We are all more beautiful than we imagine, it just takes the right eye to capture it.
Having grown up in Yorkshire, studied in Hertfordshire, lived in London and settled in Cheshire I’ve seen all sorts of people and places that I’ve cherished. My love of photography started as a child, my love of people and animals from the moment I could talk, and successfully combining the two is what makes me love what I do.
When I’m not behind the lens I can be found enjoying views from the river on my kayak, walking my dog Penny or watching my kids play sports, whatever the weather.
Whether it’s a portrait photoshoot in the park, photos of your favourite family pet or photographing a festival I will bring every image to life.
